Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Vega Options collects, how it is used, and how it is protected. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

Name and email address submitted via the early access interest form
Username and hashed password created at account setup
Payment information processed through Stripe (we never see or store raw card data)

Information collected automatically:

Ticker symbols and expiries you search within the app (stored locally in session state, not logged to a database)
Your most recently viewed tickers, stored in a local file on our server to restore your session between logins
Basic server logs (IP address, timestamp, HTTP status) generated by Cloudflare and our hosting infrastructure

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account
To contact you regarding your access request and payment
To send service-related communications (account setup, access expiry notice, launch updates)
To restore your last-used ticker preferences between sessions
To diagnose technical issues and maintain service reliability

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

Stripe — payment processing. Your card data is handled entirely by Stripe and is subject to their privacy policy.
Cloudflare — DNS, CDN, DDoS protection, and tunnel routing. Cloudflare may log request metadata per their privacy policy.
Google Forms — early access interest form. Submissions are subject to Google's privacy policy.
MarketData.app — options chain data provider. Ticker queries are sent to their API; no personal information is included in these requests.

4. Data Retention

Account credentials are retained for the duration of your access period and removed upon request. Server logs are retained for up to 30 days. Stripe retains payment records per their own policy and applicable financial regulations.

5. Data Security

Passwords are hashed before storage. A temporary password is shared with you via email during account setup and should be changed immediately upon first login. All traffic between your browser and the Service is encrypted via HTTPS. Access to our infrastructure is restricted to authorized operators only.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We take reasonable precautions but cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing adminjosh@vega-options.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy

Vega Options is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be communicated to active users via email. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
